With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Thomas "Tom" Blair, who left us peacefully in his sleep on May 5, 2024. Born on August 24, 1946, Tom's life was marked by laughter, love, and a deep compassion that touched everyone around him. His enduring spirit and warm heart will be forever missed.
Tom leaves behind a loving family: his spouse of 54 years, Chris Blair; his sons, David and his spouse Alice, Michael, and his spouse Karen and Daniel; and his cherished grandchildren, Emma, Abigail, and Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Jane, and his sister, Deborah.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Tom was an avid baseball coach to his sons and many other young men. He loved sports and imparted that love of sports to his sons. Tom ran the Northboro (MA) baseball association in the early 80s. He dedicated his time as President of the Lyons Club in Discovery Bay, CA, and Manteca, CA, enriching both communities through his leadership. Tom also had a passion for karaoke, sharing his remarkable singing voice with many. Professionally, he was committed to his career in industrial fan sales, always striving to provide the best for his customers.
We take solace in knowing that Tom's legacy will continue through the joyful memories and profound love he shared with us. Our hearts go out to Chris, his family, and all who cherished him. Rest in peace, Tom, knowing that your life has left an indelible mark on so many.
