Thomas S. Best of Wilmington North Carolina departed this life on March 28, 2022, surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of his home.

Thomas was born on July 13, 1956, to the late Edward Best Sr. and Ella Mae Armstrong Best in Mt. Olive North Carolina. He graduated from Southern Wayne High School in 1974. Thomas was an anointed and gifted singer. He grew up singing in Church and later traveled and performed at many events with his fellow band members in his younger years. He retired from the North Carolina State Ports Authority. During his retirement, he spent many days with his sons and friends fishing and traveling to visit his family and loved ones. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.

Thomas spent 16 loving years with his loving devoted wife, four of which were spent happily married.

He leaves to cherish a lifetime of loving memories with his loved ones:
