Tom's obituary
Thomas Charles Baker, originally from Rochester, NY, and a longtime resident of Clermont, FL, passed away on November 18, 2022 after a long illness.
Tom was 58.
He is predeceased by his father Albert Baker (2020) and is survived by his mother, Patricia Baker of Rochester, NY, his siblings Michelle Baker and Michael Baker, his nephew Andrew Baker, as well as wonderful aunts, uncles, step family, cousins, friends, neighbors, and his sweet dog Lil Bear.
Tom was a kind soul, and wanted everyone around him to be stress-free and happy. He loved the NY GIANTS so much he struggled to watch them when a big game was on the line. He also followed the Boston Red Sox, much to the displeasure of his father Al, a lifetime Yankees fan. Watching sports, Marvel movies, and shows like The Walking Dead was his favorite thing to do, though he also relished a good fire pit surrounded by friends and neighbors.
Tom had a positive energy that drew you in, which is why so many people cared about him. He called his Mom daily, cared about his family, and loved the simple things in life, like making "spaghetti suppers" for the fam, talking movies with his nephew Andrew, or reliving memories of Genesis or Yes music with his brother Mike.
Bottom line: Tom was an awesome human being. We will miss him dearly.
