Thomas's obituary

Thomas Gordon Bailey II, born October 26, 1955, passed away at home on May 20, 2025 after a long battle with cancer.

Tom was a carpenter by trade and woodworker by hobby. He enjoyed long days in his wood shop and building whatever came to mind. After a long day in the wood shop, the porch was often the next stop to enjoy a cold Natural Light or Coca-cola. You could often times find him up at the White Star market in the mornings, enjoying a biscuit and a scratch off.

Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy Bailey, and his son, Thomas Gordon Bailey III (Kimberlie), grandchildren Thomas Gordon Bailey IV, Katie Bailey, Maxwell Bailey, and step-grandchildren Adisyn, Aiden, Brightly, Maci, Lyla and Henry. Tom also leaves behind his siblings: Cynthia Walden, William Bailey (Becky), John Bailey, Missy Bailey, Jill Bailey, and Buddy Rogers. His numerous neices and nephews will miss him dearly.

Out-standing!

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Tom's memory.
