Theress's obituary

Theress Ann Fearrin, born on February 21, 1956, passed away on May 22nd, surrounded by her loved ones in Danville.

Theress was deeply passionate about her nursing career, dedicating herself to the care and well-being of her patients. Her commitment was most evident in her extraordinary twenty-three-year care for her last patient, Patrick, who became like family to her.

Theress' love and compassion extended beyond her nursing career. She was very involved in the Indy Cat Club for many years, where she proudly showed her beloved Abyssinians, Russian Blues, and Turkish Angoras. Her love for cats and her active participation in the club brought her joy and camaraderie with fellow enthusiasts. Her dream was to one day become a cat show judge.

In her later years, Theress discovered a talent for jewelry design, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her artistic spirit.

Theress was the beloved daughter of Ann Plumback and the late Chester "Don" McBride, and a dear sister to Melodie Kent (Brian). She was a loving mother to James Paul (Jamie) and Michael Fearrin (Ann), and a devoted grandmother to Zoya, Zachariah, and Zaryah Paul and Lucas, Devin, Blake, and Jade Fearrin. Theress also had one niece, Delanie Skelton (Oliver). Her warmth, generosity, and creativity touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she enriched.

Services to celebrate Theress' life and legacy will be held at Lakeview Church, 47 Beachway Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46224 (door 7 second floor), on June 2, 2024 at 2:00-3:00pm visitation and service is at 3:00pm. Instead of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local animal shelter or nursing foundation in her memory.
