Therese Ann Steele, lovingly known as Teri, of Orion Township, MI, passed away on October 25, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and faith. Born in Battle Creek, Michigan, to William Clifford Hayes and Catherine Rose Anderson, Teri was a devoted mother to her three sons, James (Elena), Bradley (Jamie), and Shaun (Tara) Steele, and a cherished grandmother to her four grandchildren, Evan, Brady, Gavin, and Ayla.

A dedicated Jehovah’s Witness, Teri’s faith was the foundation of her life, guiding her with strength and grace. Known for her sense of humor and love for gaudy glamour, she brought joy to everyone around her, sharing jokes, playing card games, and immersing herself in romance novels.

Teri was preceded in death by her siblings Ronald, Anthony, and Pamela Hayes. She is survived by her sisters, Laura Nelson and Gladys Hayes, and many friends and family who will forever cherish her memory. 

There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 6400 Clarkston Rd., Clarkston, MI. 48346.
