Theresa Wood, 53, of Troy, NY passed away around June 20th, 2024 after an ongoing battle with addiction.

Theresa was born on August 17th, 1970 to David Eckert (deceased) and Belthy Mosca. She then went on to have a daughter of her own, Brittany Amber Utter, who she loved and adored endlessly.

She is survived by her mother, Belthy Mosca, her daughter, Brittany Amber Utter and her grandchildren, Sophia and Ella Rosario.

Theresa shall not be known by her addiction and mistakes. She loved her family more than anything in this world and they loved her just as much. She was a vibrant, charismatic woman who loved to make people laugh. 

In her spare time she enjoyed reading, playing games, taking care of her animals and spending time with friends. She was a fun, loving and caring woman who tried her hardest despite the circumstances.

Although our family is shattered and misses her deeply, we know she is now at peace. She will always be in our hearts and thoughts. We can’t wait to see her again one day so we can feel her big presence and hear that unmistakable beautiful laugh she had. We will love her and miss her forever and ever.
