Theresa Moran Coffey, age 84 of Brenham, TX was welcomed home by the Lord as she passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 25,2024 with her family by her side.

Theresa was born to Thomas and Mary Moran on March 9, 1939 in Queens, New York. She married the love of her life, John Coffey 11/19/1960. Theresa and John moved with their 5 children to Texas in 1976. Theresa spent most of her adult life as a mother to her children, neighborhood kids and children in the daycares where she worked.

John and Theresa’s home was open to everyone. Their house was always full of kids, grandkids, family, friends, much laughter, and lots of love. Theresa was known by her family and friends as a caring, giving, compassionate person. She was a great listener, advice giver, and most of all a caretaker. Theresa always took care of everyone. Her strength and devotion to her family was unwavering.

Theresa was proceeded in death by her husband John, her parents Tom and Mary, her siblings Joan, Buddy, Martin, Tommy and Anna, and son-in-law Jay Socks. She leaves behind her 5 children and their spouses. Kathleen Clark and husband Greg, John Coffey and wife Susan, Joan Wray and husband Robert, Mary Socks, Eileen Husfeld and husband John.

Grandchildren Katherine Davis and husband Bill, Patricia Duval and husband Keith, John Coffey and wife Emily, Brien Coffey and wife Leah, Carver Wray, Kyle, Kelly, Joseph and Rebecca Husfeld.

Great-grandchildren Audrey and Alley Davis, John, Makenna, and Declan Coffey, Brilee and Brice Coffey and Carson Rocha.

Extended family Tearolon Harris, Ricky and Vicky Lyles and all of their family, The Caesar’s and all of their family, the Troyer’s, many beloved nieces and nephews, and many more.
