Theresa (Penry) Clayton, 65, of Ludowici, GA, passed away on November 26, 2022, after a brief illness.

Theresa was born on January 4, 1957 to Walter James and Mary Frances (Black) Penry in San Diego, CA.  After graduating from James Madison High School in 1975, she went on to study primary education at San Diego Mesa College. After graduation in 1979, she landed her first job as a teacher in the San Diego Unified School District. In 1992, she married the love of her life, Steven Ross Clayton. Theresa had a keen eye for beautiful and unique objects, actively collecting and selling antiques and other collectibles. She loved all genres of music, movies and classic TV. Above all, Theresa was a friend to every cat that crossed her path. 

Theresa was predeceased by her husband Steve, her parents Walter and Mary and her brother-in-law Bill Castro. She is survived by her sister Cathy Castro, niece Angela and nephew Michael, many cousins and friends.
