Theresa Kay Chaffin Telles passed away on April 28, 2022 at Pomona Valley Hospital. She had been sick for many years and in pain. She is no longer in pain. She is with our mom and, her Lu and beloved dog. Sis worked at the post office as a carrier for 20 years in San Dimas. My sister loved her home and planting flowers and always swimming in her pool. She would get so tan.  And she had the longest eyelashes. I felt so lucky to be her sister. She loved to laugh and hang out in the BoBo buggy on weekends.

I will truly miss my sister and will never get over losing her. 

Grief is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go.

When I get her ashes back, we are going to throw a party for her.
