i was the project officer at the us dept of labor for ted and his firm when they conducted an extensive study of the trans alaska oil pipeline's economic impact. i was a mere 24 but it was easy and delightful to work with him. when i sold my belongings in 1979 to move to st. thomas for a year, ted visited me to say a heartfelt goodbye. i should have visited him on occasions when i was in seattle and i am kicking myself that i didn't. a delightful intellect and a splendid human being. i am proud that i was an early part of his career which blossomed so successfully. RIP amigo. i aint far behind!
Several years ago, Ted and I got in the habit of meeting for lunch about once a month. This was a particularly beautiful day in a restaurant that Ted really liked. I wanted to post this picture because I showed it to Ted, and he said he thought it was one of the better ones that had been taken of him in the last few years.
