Sergeant Theodore Thomas Houy, 78 passed away peacefully  on 11/8/2021. Ted was a  veteran  in the USAF.

Ted was born in 1943 in Pennsylvania to his parents William and Myrtle Houy.  In the USAF Ted was stationed  at Johnson Island.  While in the USAF he had a  passion for Leathercraft and Lapadary, he taught Leathercraft and Lapadary classes for fellow service members.  After his service, he lived and worked in Pennsylvania, he moved to Arizona in the 70's, where he started a Construction company. Ted moved to Arkansas in the mid 80's where he started another construction company and then a steam cleaning business, he retired in early 2000.  After retirement he dreamed of traveling in a motorhome and wanted to move back to Arizona.  Ted was in route to Arizona when he has his final heart attack in New Mexico and never recovered. Ted was predeceased by his mother and father , brothers; Clifford and Richard and sisters; Kathleen, Delores and Bonnie, Ex wife and mother of 2 of his children; Barbara.  He is survived by  brothers; Ross and Billy, sisters; Kathleen, Lorraine and Juanita, his  wife;Betty, ex wife and mother of 3 of his children;Judith, 5 children; Shelly, Lisa, DeAnne, Jerry and Dawn, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. There will be a celebration of life held at eldest daughters home in November 2021.
