Ted had faced many health issues over the last years and managed to still maintain his positive and loving attitude. He made new friends, reconnected with old friends and shipmates and was really enjoying life when he went home.

He will be missed greatly.

Theodore “Ted” Leonard Dettloff, Jr. 09/27/61, beloved life partner (Julie O’Brien) and father (Daughters Julie Aiello – Josh Legreze , Amanda Dettloff – Shawn Lee granddaughter Mycelia Sage, and son Eric Dettloff – Jessica Ross) passed away on 01/15/22 with his loved ones at his side. Former Sailor in the US Navy, Boy Scout Leader and friend to many will be missed greatly. Forever in our hearts and memories.
