On August 8th, 2025, we lost an extraordinary man — Theo “Teddy” Tillery.
Known for his warmth, humor, and generosity, Teddy touched countless lives. Born in Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico, in 1947, his heart always belonged to the island. Over the years, he built a beautiful life with his beloved wife, Winona, and their family, creating a legacy of love, laughter, and togetherness.
Teddy’s passing has left a deep void in our lives, and for Winona, it has brought not only profound grief but also the sudden challenges of adjusting to life without her partner of so many years. As family and friends, we want to ensure she has the emotional and financial support she needs during this time.
This fundraiser has been created to help Winona with:
Medical expenses remaining from Teddy's long battle with illness.
Immediate living expenses and household needs.
Travel and arrangements for Teddy’s Celebration of Life in Puerto Rico, where his ashes will be laid to rest in the place he loved most. And finally ongoing support as she navigates this new chapter without him.
If you knew Teddy, you know how much he loved people — he was always ready to share a story, lend a hand, or make someone smile. By helping Winona now, we honor his legacy of caring for others and ensure she feels the same love and support he gave so freely.
