Thelma McGrath Steele, age 86, passed away on Saturday, February 16th, 2018. She leaves behind her brother, Charles McGrath and his wife Molly, numerous nieces and nephews, and Jeffrey Wade, whom she raised as her own son.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurie Steele, her sister Norma Wade and brother Raymond McGrath.

Born in Kennebec, Maine, she moved to Florida with her family and was married to Laurie in 1960. Thelma worked as the Human Resources Director for the City of Madeira Beach for almost 30 years. Thelma will be remembered for her kind, generous heart and for her love of animals.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date in Florida for family members.
