Thelma Alletta Lehow

Thelma Alleta Lehow was born in Woodston Kansas to William and Leona May Tallman. She lived in Kansas until her Senior Year in High School. It was a tough move for her to move to California as she entered Freemont High School in LA. She worked as a Secretary for a few years after graduation until she met the love of her life Wendell Lehow. The extremely shy Thelma knew who he was as he played Baseball at Fremont, so when he approached her at a bus stop she struck up a conversation and a friendship that led to their very happy 69 years of marriage.
Thelma dedicated her life to Wendell and delighted in raising their two children. She leaves son Robert Lehow (and his wife Patricia) of Downey, CA, his daughter Linda Lehow Guthrie of Laguna Niguel, CA and Grandchildren Neal Guthrie (and his wife Abby) of Eureka, CA and Heather Guthrie Mellem (and her husband Don)of San Clemente, CA as well as his three Great-Grandchildren, Kadie, Hazel and Bennett Mellem.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Leona May Tallman and her husband Wendell Lehow. She also lost both of her beloved brothers William Tallman and Jack Tallman.
A graveside memorial will be held at Rose Hills Mortuary in Whittier for Family and friends.
