Thelma's obituary

Thelma Perrin Davidson was born in Bozeman, Montana to Tolbert and Marian Perrin. When she was five, the family moved to Riverside, California where her father opened a couple of jewelry stores. She attended Magnolia Elementary School, Central Middle School, and Poly High School. She then attended Woodbury University in Los Angeles, CA where she majored in Commercial Art and received a Bachelor of Science degree.

While attending Woodbury, she met the love of her life, Howard M. Davidson who she married. She worked at New York Life Insurance Company as a secretary until the birth of her only child, her daughter Marian.

Thelma, who went by “Tracee”, had many hobbies. Her greatest talent was the beautiful oil paintings she did. Seascapes were her favorite. She also enjoyed collecting miniatures for her elaborate doll house, sewing and combing antique stores for treasures. She loved to host dinner parties and could make a feast for Chinese New Year that would rival any Chinese restaurant. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Lowell Perrin, adopted sister June Barber, nephew Tim Perrin and her husband Howard Davidson. She is survived by her niece Betsy Perrin (Legan), grand-niece Jamie Cope, Step-daughter Gae Davidson Chalker and her daughter Marian Davidson (Semic). She was the life of the party and is greatly missed.
