Thank you so much for everyone's support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, we are encouraging donations to Snehaveedu, a home for aged and destitute men with varying mental illnesses in Trivandrum, India. This was a place close to our his heart as he donated his money, time and love generously over the past few years.

As you know, Tharakan Jacob (our father) passed away on September 30, 2023. He had been in the hospital for slightly more than a week before he passed. Thankfully, our mom and Jeevan could see and speak with him briefly before his medical condition drastically declined.

As per his wish, he was buried in his ancestral home parish cemetery in India. The funeral was a grace-filled time, with many from near and far coming to honor his life.

We know that there are many loved ones who would like to express their condolences and have planned this memorial service to celebrate his life.

The service will be held at:
Date/Time: Saturday, October 21st 2:30-4:30PM
Location: St. Peter's Syro-Malankara Catholic Church
620 Western Hwy S, Blauvelt, NY 10913
Light refreshments and snacks will follow the service at around 4:30 pm.

This is not a wake or funeral, so while we expect the tone to be reverent, the purpose of this gathering is to come together with close family and friends to share and reflect on his life.
