On reading the program at her celebration of life our son Zach said "I knew I had her to thank for my critical thinking skills, I just never knew how much I had to thank her for." He was referring to the fact that she co-founded the school that turned things around for him. Thank you Tethel for your life of service, and for bringing forth from our children the very best version of themselves. Thank you also to her family, for sharing her with us. With Love, The Doran Family
Tethel was an extremely important part of my daughters' educational journey.  She taught them both how to communicate and how to love words and poetry.  She inspired my youngest to create a poetry board game of her favorite poets.  We feel very lucky to have known her.

We thought the world of Tethel and the whole Brown family. Wishing you happy memories and a grateful heart.

Love, Brent, Angie and Kate Stanford
