Tetanya “Tanya” Minnick passed away at Bryan LGH West on 1/2/2026. Born July 26, 1966, to Peter and Anna Lysenko. Tanya spent the first few years of her life living in Omaha, Ne before moving to Ashland. She Graduated from Ashland Greenwood High School in 1984. Tanya was married to Jay Minnick from October of 1985 to 1999 with whom she had two children. Douglas in 1989 and Natasha in 1992. Tanya held many jobs throughout her life, most recently she was a housekeeper at Kimberly Creek Retreat in Ashland, before being forced to medically retire. Tanya was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Anna. She is survived by son Douglas, wife Natalie, of Gretna; daughter Natasha, partner Andrew, of Lincoln; four loving granddaughters; brother Joe; sister Nora; and many others. It was Tanya’s wishes to be cremated and scattered in the Rocky Mountains.
