Terry Wayne Waters Sr., 57, of Venice Florida, (formerly of Melbourne Kentucky) passed away peacefully at Tidewell Hospice House after his long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Terry was born in Glasgow KY, on May 4, 1962. Terry was raised in Middletown KY by his parents Kenny and Viola Waters. Terry attended Eastern High School, where he was at the top of the wrestling team.

In winter of 1981, Terry met his first wife Tammy (Scudder) and together they had three children, Terry Junior, Alisha and Josh. Soon Terry would marry again, and from that marriage he had another daughter, Jessica.

Terry held many jobs through his years, but his true passion was cooking. He started as a line cook at a local restaurant while in high school and continued to follow his passion. In 2001 Terry had the honor of becoming the owner and head chef of Mr. Herbs Restaurant(s) in Verona and Hebron Kentucky. People flocked from every where to have be served the “famous cod fish sandwich” or his homemade Jambalaya. Either one was a true fan favorite.
Being in the restaurant business, Terry gained many, many friends and much respect from not just his employees, but also his customers.

Terry is survived by his son Terry Waters Jr. (Allison); daughter Alisha Waters; son
Josh Waters (Missy); daughter Jessica Waters; sister Connie Waters (Sue Ewell);
brother Kenny Paul Jackson; a handful of nieces and nephews and three grandchildren; and many close friends.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents Kenny and Viola (Robison) Waters.

A Celebration of Life will be brought together by his children here in Kentucky. Date and times will be announced at a later date.
