There once was a man who like all men, was flawed. But unlike most men, he knew it and worked to be a better human being. He loved his entire family greatly. He worked hard to lift people up who had suffered like he had. He would often see the pain in the faces of total strangers and know just what to say to make them feel a little better about themselves. I know because I got to see it in person on several occasions.

I know every life eventually comes to an end. But I miss the man with lots of love to give and an incredible sense of humor. Love you lots, Terry Morse.

My condolences to Terry's family. I first met Terry when my wife Brenda Soden  worked  with Terry’s wife Cindy Morse for the city of Woodland Park in Colorado. Much time passed before Terry and I became casual friends. Meeting up for coffee from time to time. Me spending a little bit of time at their home here in Woodland Park before they moved to AZ. Terry was a great wood worker making these crazy bird like fence attachments where our local winds would blow and the wings would spin. Quite comical yet ingenious. People talk about how kind and generous Terry was and that’s pretty much an understatement. A real quality person. RIP dude!

PS, Just now (December 19th 2024) saw the news of Terry’s passing on to be in the better place 😢😢🙏🙏🙏

Condolences to the family!! Patrick Hunt. One of the good ole boys in Woodland Park!

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Terry

Bob & Sharon Oppenheimer

Terry  pretty much raised my daughter Krissy.  He was a great "dad" to her & we are forever grateful for his unconditional love for her along with  Bret &  Kelly.  My wife, Sharon & I were welcomed into Terry & Cindy's home & we had so much fun with them, like one big family.  He was a fine man who lived a good life.

Terry was a great friend and cousin in our younger years. Riding our bikes in La Jolla, exploring the caves there and body surfing at La Jolla shores early in the morning, sometimes joined by several black and glistening seals. Wherever and whenever we were together it was always filled with laughter. Later, as adolescents do, we became more interested in our schoolmates and our times together became lesser. But our affection continued always. The last time we saw each other was here in California. He came up into my loft, saw a painting I had made of an old flashlight/lantern that was reminiscent of our time in Boy Scouts. He immediately bought it. Refused to take it as a gift. I’ve always been so pleased that he had that painting. A reflection of our long relationship. Peace dear cuz. And love.

As I told Terry a few days ago, "You are my life's role model, teacher, coach, the person I wanted to be." The best parts of me are you. See you Mi Hermano.

Worked with Terry and Cindy at the Saddle Club.  We had some great memories! RIP Terry.....

Terry was very special to us.  He came to visit his uncle Dick a couple of days before he went in the hospital. That was the last time they would see each other. So ironic..   he was a wonderful man.   I’m so sorry to loose him.  My love and condolences to the family. I know he is resting in peace and reunited with Cindy.  He will remain in my heart.
Terry was a wonderful man last time we saw Terry was at Cindy’s celebrationl of life if you were his friend it was for a lifetime RIP Terry
Sorry to hear this. R.I.P. Terry.  You are missed in Woodland Park! Spence.

Terry started out as a softball teammate and ended up as a good friend. I have a ton of good memories that include our Saturday morning  breakfast at the Smokehouse in Woodland Park to the many Rockies games we attended. RIP my friend

This a loss that is going to be felt by so many because of the incredible man he was and the bond he had with all of us growing up in Woodland Park.  I could see him clear across a parking lot and he always made sure to come give me a hug and a smile. The tears are flowing in memory. Prayers for peace. See you when I get there, Trouble.
Terry was a friend to everyone. He  hired me to play music, when I was a young musician just arrived in Colorado, giving me a chance to gain experience. He was generous, and humorous, living the Colorado life to the fullest. Thanks for being a friend Terry.  Barry

Bret and Krissy.  I so mourn you and the rest of your families loss.  As a child growing up, I recall the awe and trepidation I had around Terry.  He was a big man to a child. He had a deep voice. He came from law enforcement. He had that way of looking at you, that made you question yourself. He was not judgemental  with that look. It was experience and a genuine care with a hint of been there, by way of a faint smile and glint in his eye. As I grew up and spent more time around Terry and Cindy; I developed a true appreciation and admiration for them both. I know that they are both now reunited in God's fold. Together again.  I can only imagine that my dad, larry, and Terry sharing a cloud. Talking baseball. Life. And hopefully pride in who they were on this earth. Terry will not be forgotten. God speed.

Uncle Terry was such a positive and real influence on my life. Always so positive and I hear his literal voice in my head all the time. He always supported everything I did & would offer advice if it was needed.

He was my first employer as well, giving me a summer job with his construction company when I stayed with him in woodland park.

With that experience alone it taught me that to achieve the goals you set for yourself requires hard work and dedication...

He also drove straight through from Colorado to San Diego for my Graduation. At the time I didn’t really know how much of a trek that actually is… Just for me. So priceless.

Every holiday with him and our family will never leave my mind. They always meant more than everyone will know.

I love you Uncle T! You are now up there with Cindy & my brother Ty. Thanks for everything!

We are remembering Terry today and the wonderful man he was. Sending our condolences and hugs to the family. Please keep us in the loop if there are plans for a memorial. Much love, the San Diego Morse family.

He was a great man with a perpetual smile that greeted everyone that was lucky enough to meet him.
