Terry Lee Ball, 85, passed away surrounded by family on December 22, 2025.

Terry was born on June 25, 1940 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. In 1960 he married Annavon Jeanette Ball, née Mahaffey with whom he shared 65 years of marriage.

Terry started as a brick mason for Frank White and later dedicated his career to public service, joining the Lawton Police Department from 1968 until his retirement in 1993. He was known for his strong work ethic and servant’s heart.

Terry was an avid reader and loyal Oklahoma University Football fan. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family. An animal lover, Terry could typically be found with his dog on his lap.

He was preceded in death by his parents, O.U. Lewis and Virginia Lewis; his brother, Carrell; and his sister, Chloe.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette, their children, Brian (Audrey) Ball and Selinda (Sean) Rezentes, alongside his five grandchildren, Justin (Amber) Ball, Aaron Ball, Abigail (David) Rezentes, Benjamin Rezentes, and Larkin Ball. He was also blessed with three great-grandchildren, Chandler, Kaedyn, and Carson Ball, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, at University Church of Christ in Lawton, Ok. Honor Guard will be presented at the end of service, which can be live streamed https://www.ucoclawton.org.

Terry will be remembered for his faith, devotion to family, and the legacy of love he leaves behind.
