Terry a funny, kind, hardworking man left the building on November 6,2024.

Terry was born on Dec 8, 1954 to Norine and Robert Jackson in Kirksville, Mo.

Terry had a long career with Missouri Dept of Mental Health; starting at age 18 as a hospital attendant. When he was 27, he decided to study at North East Missouri State, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education. Terry moved to Columbia MO where he continued to work for the Dept of mental health and attended the University of Missouri to complete a masters degree. He completed his education with a PHD in special education.

Terry held various roles in his work, he was best known for his keen wit and ability to manage difficult people and situations.

Terry retired early at age 49, he would often say if he’d known retirement was so good, he would have done it when he was 18.

Terry and his wife, Anne had a passion for travel, and were able to travel the world together.

Terry has requested no funeral services.
