I loved my brother Terry very much. So sad my fragmented family refused to share any information of this with me. I have many found memories with Terry. Joey ran through my soul and I wept with happiness when he told me he gave his life to I Jesus Christ.

My condolences to Terry's family and friends. I was lucky enough that God chose to cross my path with his last year when I came to the Orlando Union Rescue Mission. He was always helpful, encouraging and Christ first which was exactly the kind of presence I needed to be around. Watching him deal with the struggles he had to face in the last couple months of his life, with the grace and peace he handled it with, was a monumental inspiration for me. While I miss his presence (as all of us who knew him do), it brings me joy to know that he is with the Lord.
During a conversation we had about a month ago he told me that he was ready to go home, and he didn't say that with any sort of self pity or anguish. He knew that God was calling him and was happy that he had completed the work that was given to him to carry out. He is a shining example of how one should act as a follower of Christ and I'll always keep that example with me.

My earliest memory of uncle Terry, I was pretending to sleep in the back of my mom’s car, he carried me inside ( even though he knew I was awake). We love you uncle terry!

I remember the day I first met Terry. I had just got out of jail a couple days prior and needed a place to rest my head. I remember him coming up to me and asking me if it was my first time at OURM. I said yes and he took me in and explained to me all the rules. He made it VERY clear that OURM was a Christian based organization (I think the Holy Spirit told him I wasn’t a Christian). Later that day I decided to give my life to Christ and the following week I was baptized. Every day I would see Terry and he was always happy to see me. One day he was giving us a ride to church and a disciple gave him the name ‘Turbo Terry’. If I needed anything he would always help so when I would go to the store I would always get him Apple pies. When he got sick I would always bring him lunch on Sundays and talk to him about God and how he’s changed our lives. Terry was a wonderful man and I know for sure he’s going to heaven. I miss you already Terry, save us some of those heavenly pies please. 💯❤️🙏🏾✝️

Earlier in his life Terry loved skydiving! He had approximately 100 solo jumps.
