How you can help
Terry was only 56 yrs old & been on disability since getting hurt on the job in 2013. His health recently had severely declined w age, leading to heart & breathing problems leaving him immobile 90% of the time in the last yr. Just walking to the bathroom n back would tire him out & leave him gasping for breath. Today my son and I were walking out if the kitchen and just thought he was napping & Talking/ mumbling in his sleep again on the couch but as we got closer and I locked eyes w him , I noticed he had a terrified look on his face n was dreaming n gasping fir breath. As we called 911 and checked for a pulse we got him on the ground starring cpr until the medics came ( my son & me) noticing his eyes had rolled back n he was already purple before ambulance ever left. Getting to the er we learned he was gone. We had been together 24 yrs, our son is 17, we git divorced a lil over a yr ago but he lived w us anyway. He hadn't spoken to his only other 2 blood relatives ( mom n sister) on over 2.5 yrs but after hearing about his death, they took o er arrangements n are plan ING to cremate him saying g they. Cant afford a funeral, he specifically did not want to be cremated but they say that's how it's gonna b u less w have $10000.00, which we don't n r barely making ends meet now, he had no life insurance n ss only pays $225.00 for death benefit. So unless we raise close to that as a dw. Pymt by tomm at 12, then they will go against his wishes on everything. Please help us keep his wish for final arrangements as he wanted. He was a great man, dad, friend to many and was always helping anyone that was in need and nowhere needs a lil help. We'd appreciate anything you could give to help us.
