We have special memories of our childhood with the Yamada Ohana. We had lots of fun times getting together for dinner at Mui Kai Chop Suey in Kaneohe almost every weekend. We took turns going to each other's house for more talk story, coffee for the adults, desserts and playtime for the kids. I will always fondly remember Terri's beautiful smile, laughter and love for fishing stories. Our deepest condolences and love to the family for their loss of a dear loved one.

It took a long time for me to believe that Terri has joined her mom in Heaven. It’s devastating news to the family specially that she became close to us over the years. Terri usually comes to the house on weekends visit family specially our 95 year old Mom, watch TV or joins us for family activities and parties like Christmas Thanksgiving or Halloween. During Halloween, we set up a table in front of the house where she enjoys distributing candies to kids for trick or treat. When a kid says “Thank You” she gives extra. The last Halloween the Kids were looking for her because of the extra treat they get.
Whenever my daughter Venus comes home from California she always have a special goodies that includes Trader Joe’s dried apricots, butter wafer and coco buttons for Terri. They always go out for lunch and sometimes watch movies.
There is one time Terri was not able to join us for New Year’s party celebration so she came the day after to have lunch with Grandma while Vincent and I have to go to work. They enjoyed the fruit punch in the refrigerator. When we came home Terri was sleeping in the living room while grandma was sleeping in the family room. When Terri grabbed the juice it was already warm so she noticed the drink had various alcohol mixed in it. We were laughing because Grandma was drunk so she doesn’t want to wake up and continued to sleep.
We have so many hilarious memories with Terri. She is always fun to be with, smart and she is the resource of many things. We feel we lost a member of the family .
Terri, although it takes a long time to get used to your absence, your memory lives on in our hearts and in our minds. We love you and we miss you dearly.

I am deeply saddened by the news today! Since February or March of this year, multiple phone calls to Terri's different numbers were not answered or returned! This was so unusual as she would always return calls or respond to emails as soon as she got it. We tried to ask around but only knew that she is on an extended leave. Just a few days ago we were so happy when we were told she was coming back to work soon after getting the clearance from her doctor.
I will miss Terri dearly, especially the days when we worked together on different projects and the happy moments we spent together on lunch dates and site visits! My condolences go out to her beloved family, and I am so sorry for your loss!

We all need people who think well of us. And she thought well of me from the few times I was able to help her when our work paths crossed.
One time though, we were sitting across each other troubleshooting something, and she was explaining how a computer system worked. But I had a long night and was tired.
I knew I was starting to get double vision from being tired, and Terri was looking at my face with her serious/work look. Then she started smiling laughing and called me out "Hey!" saying my eyes just suddenly went blank/unfocused during her explanation...haha...
I apologized of course saying it wasn't her explanation...it was me staying out late with my friends...It was an embarrassing moment for me, but a funny one for both of us...heh heh
