Last year, my 68-year-old partner was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease also known as ALS. Speaking and swallowing were two of his challenges. When I think about Terri I think about her calm nature. Her smile. Her laugh. I remember her driving all of us girls around for Amelia’s dance shows and making sure we were all comfortable. She threw the best birthday parties for Amelia as they stick in my memory.
Terri fought so hard. I was able to have a few Physical Therapy sessions with her last summer and despite her fatigue and frustration, she gave her all and with a smile on her face.
She raised two incredible women who I am so fortunate to have in my life. I will miss her, but her memory will live on forever💜
