Terri's obituary
We honor the life of Ms. Terri Rinker, a remarkable woman of endless warmth and laughter, born on May 23, 1959, and sadly passed away on December 17, 2023. Terri left an unforgettable imprint on the lives of all who knew her, touching people with her generosity, humor, and vibrant spirit. She warmed our hearts, brought joy to our lives, and shared wisdom rooted in kindness and care. Her legacy, a testament to these qualities, will continue to be a source of inspiration for all.
Terri is lovingly survived by her amazing husband of 40 years, William Larry Rinker; her daughter, Kristie Bartleman and husband Chris Bartleman; her son, Curt Dumas and wife Sarah Dumas; her step daughter, Angela Willis and wife Jaclyn Willis. She is also survived by her 4 sisters, Cynthia, Robbie, Sonja, and Jeanie. Her 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren along with nieces and nephews. Terri's family was her greatest joy and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Terri was known for her unique ability to connect with people. She was a true people person, demonstrating a genuine interest in those around her. She had a hearty laugh and a sense of humor that could light up even the gloomiest of rooms, making all those around her feel comfortable and cherished.
A woman of diverse interests, Terri was a devoted fan of the San Francisco 49ers. She found solace in spending time with family and loved sipping on her favorite drink – coffee. Her heart hummed to the tunes of Fleetwood Mac and Journey, and she cherished serene moments at the beach. She found her true calling as a DPS specialist where she spent the past 4 years caring for others. The Airport Cafe and Mary S. Roberts were amongst her local favorite spots where she enjoyed spending time with her individuals. She absolutely loved her job.
Terri was always generous with her wisdom, often reminding us that "Karma is a b*tc#" and to "Take care of the animals". She believed in the circle of life and respected all living beings. Her spirit of generosity and love extended to all creatures big and small, a testament to her kind heart.
Terri's legacy of generosity, love, and radiant joy will resonate forever in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will always be remembered as a beacon of hope, a source of comfort, and a woman with a heart as vast and beautiful as the sea itself.
