Terri's obituary
Terri Kay Krauss passed away on January 12, 2025 at the age of 61. She was born on January 17, 1963 in Charleston, SC to William McCrackin and Karen Elliot. She had five siblings: Bill Elliott, Kelly McCrackin, Steve Elliott, Marci Wise, and Philip Lytle.
Terri graduated from Saint Leo University with a master’s degree in psychology. She began her work career as a cashier at Dollar General. With a combination of passion and tireless work ethic, she achieved being the CEO of Five Point Dental Specialist. In her professional life, Terri was a visionary leader that led with compassion, innovation, and determination to make a positive impact.
Terri is survived by her husband, Philipp Krauss, and her beloved dog babies: Franken Beans, Dienner DaWeena, and Hazel. She has four children: Robert Valeo II, Erica Parris, Rachel Nemlich, and Alexa Briggs. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren: Colby Parris, Kaylynn Parris, Jayden Nemlich, Ava Nemlich, and McKinzie Briggs.
Beyond her professional and family achievements, Terri was a phenomenal person whose kindness, warmth, and vibrant spirit touched everyone she met. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her infectious laughter and encouraging words were a constant source of comfort and inspiration. As hard as she worked, she loved celebrating life by spoiling everyone around her, gardening, cooking, and reading Stephen King books.
Terri’s life was defined by her unwavering dedication to her family, her trailblazing contributions to the field of dentistry, and her ability to bring light into the lives of all who knew her. As a devoted mother, she provided boundless love, support, and wisdom to her children that shaped their lives with her strength and leadership. Terri leaves behind a legacy of love, leadership, and a life well-lived. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives were enriched by her presence.
