Terrence Patrick Heinz passed away peacefully at the age of 69 on November 13, 2024, in Clarkston, Michigan, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on August 23, 1955, Terry was celebrated for his dynamic personality and generous spirit.

A graduate of Roseville High School in 1973, Terry formed lifelong friendships that he cherished deeply. He dedicated 28 years of his career to Oakland University, serving as a Computer Technologist in the School of Engineering and Computer Science until his retirement in 2021. His commitment to his work and colleagues was unwavering.

Terry was a vibrant soul, often described as the life of the party. His kindness, generosity, and loving nature left a lasting impression on everyone he met. A devout member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, he found great comfort in his faith and was committed to serving his community.

In his leisure time, Terry enjoyed fishing, music, and spending quality time with his family. He was also an avid card player, known for his skills in poker, Yahtzee, and Texas Hold'em.

Terry is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Cynthia; his daughters, Erin (Ryan) Butler and Kassidy (Bobby) Kempinski; his granddaughter, Giada Gamarra; his brothers, Richard, Paul (Sonia), Lawrence (Diana), and Guy (Jerri) Heinz; his sisters, Patricia (Bob) Kempinski and Wendy (Don) DeMeulenaere; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Caroline and Lawrence (Sharon) Heinz, and his sister, Kelly Heinz.

Terry's life will be celebrated with his family and close friends. We would love for you to join us! His legacy of love and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
