Terrence Bobbit also known as Coach Terry or Coach T, 44, of Oakland, CA, passed away on July 16, 2022.

Terrence was born on October 23, 1977 to Tonya White and Eric Bobbit Senior in Oakland, Ca. After graduating from Berkeley High in 1996, he landed his first career job as a Foreman for HPC Industrial for 15 years. In 2001, he had his first child, Karina Bobbit and went on to have two more child, Terrence Bobbit Jr. and Jerome Bobbit .


Terrence was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in this world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Karina, Terrence Junior, and Jerome. He always tried his best to support them and their friends.


Terrence was also a passionate for helping youth with or without a positive male figure in their life and could often be found coaching football and other sports when he wasn’t at home or working.


Anyone who knew Terrence knew that he was the most loving father and son a family could ask for.  He is survived by all three of his children, his step children Boston and Alexis McGee, Both of his parents, his Fiance Tiffany Green, his brother Eric Bobbit Jr., and his four sisters, Janet, Robyn, Amina, and Cassandra Bobbit.


The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Wilson & Kratzer Mortuaries Civic Center Chapel. There will be a celebration of life on August 21, 2022.
