So many stories and memories with Aunt Teresa! She started my love for oldies music with her huge record collection and player when I was 4 (both sizes of records!). We spent many summers at Six Flags Great America (we both would get season passes!). She brought me to Sheridan Manor with her after kindergarten and I'd color with the residents- this started my love for caring for the elderly and especially those with dementia. We worked together at Rolling Hills and I continued on becoming an Administrator of a senior living to which I couldn't wait to share with Aunt Teresa. It made her so proud. We shared a special bond and chatted often even when there were miles between us. We confided in each other. Teresa loved my husband and kids like they were her own and never missed an opportunity to ask about them. She had a passion for diet coke, cigarettes and scratch off tickets. She loved her cats and missed them terribly. Watching movies and her soap opera (all my children and general hospital) brought her joy (even following groups on Facebook to argue about new characters they'd bring on) lol. Aunt Teresa is already so missed by all of us. Until we see you again. Love you more!!!

So sorry to hear about the loss of beloved Theresa. She brought much joy in her lifetime. She will not be forgotten.
One of my favorite memories, and one I reminisced with her before she passed, was when we lived in Van Dyne and would go on walks around the animal farm. She loved to see all of the different animals and play with the baby goats! She also helped instill my love for video games. We would play Nintendo and Sega games together whenever I would visit her. I'll miss my Aunt Teresa dearly and never forget all the fun we had together.
