I am very sorry to read this news. Teresa was a wonderful respected colleague at Washtenaw County  Public Health and Mental Health. My sympathy to her loving family. ❤️

Ashley, Jordan, Zach, and family,

I am sending my deepest condolences to you on the loss of your beautiful mom. The first time I met Teresa at work in 2010, she shared your photos with me right away. She beamed with pride as she shared stories about your sports, travels, colleges, and jobs over the years. She exemplified both grace and grit, and I will forever be thankful to have known her and become her work friend. I am keeping your mom and your family in my heart.

I am so sorry to hear of Teresa’s passing. We used to talk about the good old days when our kids were in school at Dexter and when I was a parapro there. She was a fun co-worker and friend who was always so cheerful. She will be missed.

I am so sorry we have lost such a wonderful person.  So full of love and life.  I worked with her at Washtenaw CMH and she always brightened our days with her cheerfulness and great outlook on life.
I’m so, so sorry to hear this. I have lots of fond memories of being “basketball moms” together. More recently we connected on social media. She was a remarkable woman, and she lives on in all of you.

Ashley Zac and Jordan.  I feel like I know you all.  Teresa talked about you all the time at work.  In fact, I'd say her defining characteristic is that NOTHING in this world meant more to her then you guys.  I'm so so sorry for your loss.  She was an inspiration to everyone, but as a mom she must have been an absolute angel.  My heart goes out to you guys.

Ashley, Jordan and Zac,

I am heartbroken for the three of you as your"true north"  is no longer with you.  Your dear mother was one of the strongest and loving women that I have know. She was always a steady compass that pointed others toward kindness, resilience and integrity.  She stood tall in the face of adversity and found beauty in the world despite what she had to face. I know that she was always in awe of her children and super proud of you all.  I have such fond memories as she was my basketball and baseball buddy and seatmate for 10 years. Talking with her was often the highlight of my day.  Your mom had a way of making people feel that they were the most important person in the room. Our conversations were loving, funny, and real, and she always had a way of bringing grace and strength to the chaos of life. She was the true definition of mom and friend and taught me so much.  I send you strength and joy as you grieve while celebrating her beautiful life.

I have fond memories of my wonderful cousin. Although we had lost touch as adults, we had many fun times as children. I loved Her and I pray for peace for Her children.  Remember the good times.

I’m so sorry to hear this. She was taken too soon after a hard fight. I know you all will keep her memories and her love alive. Warmly, the Lomax Family
I feel so lucky to have known Teresa.  Not only was she a dedicated and loving Mom, she was a phenomenal friend.  There was no better seat at a baseball game than next to Teresa.  She was classy, funny, sincere and cool.  I’m so sorry the world has lost such a wonderful person.  I know she lives on in her three devoted and beloved children.  Please know that you are in my prayers.
My heart is broken for all of you  over the loss of such a beautiful soul. She was an incredible mom and a friend. Her love, strength, and kindness will never be forgotten. May she Rest In Peace.
