Teresa and I were in French class together. Our teacher gave us our French names on the first day of class. He said… Teresa = “Thā-rez” (phonetic spelling) and mine was “Paulina” because I’m sure there isn’t a better French translation for the name Patricia. 😂 I called her “Tharez” for ever more!

Another: I was hanging out with her at her apartment (as teens) and we noticed, from her upstairs bedroom window, that there were cute boys downstairs. Tharez thought it would be funny to throw lit firecrackers (with zero firecracker experience)at them from the window. She lit one, went to toss it out, but she was too slow and it POPPED in between both our ears! We laughed so hard…she may have wet her pants a tiny bit. Of course we laughed so hard at that, and so on… I’ll miss her, yet I’m so proud of her for the grace and bravery that she showed throughout her fight against Cancer. “Get checked, people!”

She is and will always be so proud of you and Allen. Keep the beautiful memories close to your heart and know that she’s always with you. ❤️

You will be deeply missed by everyone Teresa! We all love you so much, and are praying for the family 🤍 Thank you for raising such an amazing daughter, and for sharing your kindness and compassion with the world.

Teresa, you will be missed so much.

You were a bright light in our lives. Courtney loved you so very much. Of all the “second Moms” she could have had, I am glad she chose YOU!

There are so many memories of you in my mind and you are smiling and laughing in every single one of them.

While you will be missed terribly here on earth, I know you are up in Heaven dancing with the angels, pain and cancer free.

I love you, sweet friend. Thank you for the many years of friendship, the memories and the laughs and please know that Andrea will always have a “ second Mommy” in me. ♥️

You will never be forgotten!

My heart is broken for the family but I know Heaven gained another Angel.  Teresa is now dancing, having her cocktail and surrounded her by cats. She was such an advocate to rescue. And her awareness for Colon cancer, educating everyone through her posts.  She was  beautiful light and will be missed by many.
