Teresa Violet Ríos passed away peacefully on Monday, September 9, 2024, in Goodyear, AZ.

Teresa was predeceased by her parents Arturo and Hazel (Blacknell) Ríos and sister Cynthia Ríos Kwan.

Left to mourn are her daughter Tamia Murray, her siblings Arthur Ríos, Fredrick Ríos, Anna Ríos, and Claudia White (Myke), Aunts Amanda Metoyer and Eunice Blacknell and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Teri, as she was known to family and close friends, was born in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from Carl Hayden High School in Phoenix AZ and served in the US Navy. Coronado, CA and Phoenix, AZ were Teri’s adopted hometowns.

Teri was welcoming and quick to make friends out of strangers. She was a devoted mother and together with her daughter was called T n’ T. She loved watches, butterflies, sunshine, purple, listening to music, spending time with family, talking on the phone, her dogs, photography, tech gadgets, milk shakes and driving with the top down in her convertible. There will never be another like T-Bone Ríos, and we will miss her forever.

Services are scheduled for Saturday November 2nd at Avenidas Funeral Chapel at 11AM.
