It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Teresa Gleaves (Bellwood,Illinois), who passed away on December 24, 2019, at the age of 33
Teresa was a loving and compassionate person who loved to be silly. She had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul.
Teresa loved family game nights, sitting outside, and going to the lake. She enjoyed camping, sitting by the fire with her friends and family laughing and telling stories.The relationship she had with her Sisters, Ivory& Lisa ( Keith Hathorn), was not like any other. Teresa was a wonderful little sister that learned a lot from her siblings. When she moved to Illinois with her Father she still remained close with her Sisters.She left behind two Angel's Tisha & Kimora who she loved and adored , they were her world. If you were lucky enough to be present when she gazed into her children’s faces, the pure joy radiating from her would blind you. Teresa wanted nothing more for them than to have a wonderful life.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Brent Gleaves; grandparents, Gerald Gleaves, Troy Ewung. Teresa is survived by her loving children,Tisha & Kimora, Morher Gladys Gleaves, Father Sonny Gleaves siblings, Ivory,Lisa ( Keith Hathorn), step father; Daniel Barber; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be from 10:30 am – 6:00pm on Friday, December 27th at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will begin at 11:30 am on Saturday, December 28th in the Chism-Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will immediately follow going to Shady Grove Cemetery in Bellwood, Illinois
