Teresa's obituary
Teresa lived a full life as a Mother, Homemaker, Partner, and Friend. She was a master cook in the kitchen, had a vivacious personality, and was highly skilled with an artistic ability that allowed her to transform everything she interacted with, from objects to people. Teresa was a beach girl at heart, with a free spirit that made people around her laugh and form friendships everywhere she went. She was a fierce woman – holding fast to her beliefs, defending those she loved, and always seeking the fun and joy in life.
Teresa’s life would seem too short for many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here.
Teresa Lee Fosse (Jones) was born on September 8, 1962, in Marion, Illinois, to Parents Donald and Rose Jones, and is survived by her sons, David Shea, Jared Fosse, Jesse Fosse, A.J McCorkle (Stepson), and Only Daughter, Kelly Bryan. She is also survived by her father, Donald L. Jones, Brother, Donald E. Jones, and Beloved Partner of 26 years William C. McCorkle (Bill), as well as her grandchildren, Ashlynn, Gavin, Novalie, Madison, Landon, Uriah, Zaire, Hayden, Leighton, Reagan, Collin, Sadie, Bradley, and Avery.
Until We Meet Again
“We think about you always,
We talk about you still
You have never been forgotten,
and you never will.
We hold you close within our hearts,
And there you will remain
To walk and guide us through our lives,
Until we meet again.”
Teresa Lee Fosse (Jones) 1962-2021
