To Teri's family and friends....I was devastated when I heard about Teri's passing.  It has been years since we shared a conversation, but Teri has always been in my thoughts and prayers during the in between times.   I knew that all I had to do was call and it would be like we had just talked the day before and not the months it had really been.  I met Teri when she was in college in New Ulm, MN and I lived a town over in Sleepy Eye. She joined a group of people who would come to my house to get away from dorm life for a few hours or a week end.  We would laugh, watch movies, and enjoy the freedom of youth!  Those were the best of times.  We also shared long talks when things troubled us and we encouraged each other in our faith and love of Jesus.  Teri was a special person and she was an amazing listener.  She gave great advise and she was always there to support her friends.  Her light shone bright and I am so glad she found her calling,  Our mutual friends have shared with me how excited she was  to make this trip and share the love of Jesus with those who were still searching.  Teri - well done good and faithful servant.  Rest now... we will join you soon!  Much Love. Laurie
I'm sorry we couldn't all be together today.  I am by your sides in spirit 💛

I was blessed to have Teri as my roommate my sophomore year at MLPS.   Teri never went far without her camera, taking pictures around campus of people and the seasons changing.  She was gifted at needlepoint back then, as well.  I was not surprised to see her involved with pottery because she loved to create and capture the beauty of God's creation.

Teri was always looking to do something nice for others.  She was a good listener and always offered good sound advice.

After leaving MLPS there always was a Teri sized hole in our group of friends  (Teri, Mara, Kirsten and I) .  Teri came to visit me in the summer and we had such good times together.

But without a doubt Who Teri loved was more important than anything else.  She loved Jesus, she loved her family deeply.  Joining big sister Tina at school was important to her, part of her reason for being so far from home.  And she loved and adored her little sister Julianne.  I'm fairly certain that she felt she was missing out on important parts of Julianne's young life and wanted to be there for her when she chose to leave MLPS and go to school back home.

It's hard to believe so many years have passed.  I've watched her make life changes over Facebook and marveled again at Teri's love of people, her desire to share the love of Jesus with them, and where that great Love took her around the world.

She lived for Him, she was clearly full of joy in her pursuit of God's calling in her life. While we miss Teri, she's exactly where she wants to be.

I wish that I could be there next week for Teri's memorial.  More than anything else, I wish I could have another hour just sitting and talking and catching up with Teri.  One more hug.  That will be something to look forward to in heaven.

God bless you, Tina, Julianne and Zachary, Tiffany and Megan.  May you be comforted.

Sadly, the last time I spent with Teri was at Dad's funeral. Because of the distance between us (we're in Michigan and Teri was living in Texas and New Mexico areas) we weren't able to see each other again. I remember vividly Teri being with me while I saw dad and her hugging me thru my grief. She took a picture of me holding dad's hand. Its a moment that I won't ever forget.

So sad to hear of Teri's death, but rejoice she is in Jesus arms.

We  send our love and prayers to her sisters and neices

Teri visited and met my daugh…

Teri visited and met my daughters. Then, a short time later, came to live with us. She was the best friend. Love me, taught me so many things, and loved my children as her own.

I was shocked to hear this news today. Teri touched many lives and gave of herself without hesitation. She was always so kind and truly a disciple of our Lord. We used to get on the phone and just talk and talk about the Lord and everything else. She will be missed so much! She is now in glory and getting her reward for being a good and faithful servant. May the Lord comfort all who knew her as a friend and also those who had the privilege to have her as a family member.
