On Wednesday, June 5, 2019, Teresa Ann Carden, loving mother of five children, passed away at her home in Vancouver, WA at the age of 59. Teresa was born on May 13, 1960 in Houston, TX to Frank R. Gatlin and Sue R. Gatlin. She graduated from Cypress College in 1988 with a degree in Nursing and worked as an RN throughout her career. She was attending Washington State University and working towards her Master of Science in nursing.

Teresa had a passion for biking, gardening, and writing. Additionally, she was an avid sports fan and loved to watch the Seahawks and Mariners. She was known for her drive, infectious laugh, and warm heart. Throughout her life, Teresa maintained a sweet and kind demeanor. Her laugh and smile will never be forgotten.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Frank Gatlin. She is survived by her five children, Bethany, Rebecca, Noelle, Isaac, and Anna, her mother Sue, her two sisters Brenda and Jan, and other loving family members.

A memorial service will be held at Union Chapel on July 13th, 2019 at 11:00 AM. The family requests that donations be made to Open House Ministry or the Humane Society for SW Washington in lieu of flowers.
