Teresa's obituary

Teresa Lynn Brand, aged 63, passed away on September 5, 2024, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Born on September 1, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan, she grew up in a loving home with her parents, Clay (Al) and Shirley Matheny, who preceded her in death.

Teresa was a cherished wife to her husband of 43 years, Eric Brand, and a devoted mother to her sons, Alexander (Katie), Eric, and Andrew (Crystal). She was a doting grandmother to Shane, June, and Noah, who will forever cherish her memory and the boundless love she shared. Teresa also leaves behind her siblings, Rick (Teri), Ken, and Darryl (Jennifer), as well as many extended family members and friends.

Teresa was a loving wife and mother. She took special joy in raising her sons and had fond memories of their mischief and misadventures. She loved to spend time and spoil her grandchildren every chance she could. She adored her fur babies, Squeak, Smokey, & Minx.

Known affectionately as Mama E, Teresa was a mother figure to many, extending her maternal warmth beyond her immediate family. Her lifelong friend, Teri Zabolotny, stood by her side providing love, laughter, and shenanigans throughout Teresa's life.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Teresa on Saturday, September 28, at 11:00 a.m. at The Cross Bible Church located at 33000 Harper Ave., St. Clair Shores, MI 48082. Following the service, guests are invited to join the family for lunch and continued remembrance at Blossom Heath Park, located at 24800 Jefferson, between 9 and 10 Mile roads on Jefferson Ave.
