Teresa Allen, 67, of Gages Lake, IL, passed away on May 04, 2022 surrounded by loved ones.

Teresa was born on December 21, 1954 in Guntown, Mississippi. Teresa grew up in Waukegan, Illinois and graduated from Waukegan High School in 1974.  She never met a stranger and would have long conversations with people she just met. It didn’t matter where she went she knew someone or made new friends. Teresa loved to cook and was passionate about her faith and her family. Above all else, she was a loving and devoted Nana to her grandsons and T.T. to her great-nephews.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruby House, her brother, Charles McDonald, and her sisters, Joanne Williamson and Edith McDonald.

Teresa is survived by her sons, D.J.(Chris) and Brian Allen, her grandsons Benjamin and Jaxson Allen, her sisters Ann Stevenson and Wanda Thiel as well as her extended family and an abundance of friends. Her bigger than life personality and quick wit will be deeply missed.  Her smile and infectious laughter will remain in our hearts forever.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church 3350 N. Delany Rd #1343, Waukegan, IL 60087 on Tuesday May 17, 2022 at 4:30.  A potluck reception will follow the service.
