Background
The ALS Chapter of Greater New York helped our family as Teri's condition began to progress. In addition to research, the ALS association helps people needing resources like wheelchairs, hospital beds, and other devices right away since the disease can spread so quickly. The ALS association also provides support for families in ways of counseling and support groups.
