Terence's obituary

On Saturday, July 20, 2019, Terence Reese Donnelly of Hampton, New Hampshire, died peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones. Cherished husband of Regina Rink, revered father of Justin Donnelly and Colin Donnelly, and brother of Thomas R. Donnelly III and Derek Sevier Donnelly. Terence was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 1966, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Thomas R. Donnelly, Jr. After attending St. Michael’s High School in St. Michaels, Maryland and Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, Virginia, Terence earned his undergraduate degree from Mary Washington College, Fredericksburg, Virginia. Terence had charisma and magnetism and welcomed anyone he met with a warm and infectious smile. A lover of golf, fine wine and cigars, he was affectionately known in many of his circles of life as T-Dawg. His adult life was spent as a change agent and ambassador in the hospitality and event technology sectors, most recently spending 15 years as VP and Strategic Solutions Director at Experient. Terence had an immense devotion for The Catholic Church, his family, his friends, and his profession. The family will receive friends during a visitation Thursday, August 1, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church 19 Eye Street, NW Washington, D.C. St. Aloysius is on the campus of Gonzaga College High School. A funeral service will follow immediately at 11 a.m. A Celebration of Life will take place following the service, but the location is the Key Bridge Marriott, 1401 Lee Hwy, Arlington, VA 22209. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Greater Washington Region for the American Heart Association.
