It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terence "Terry" Cooney on April 19, 2023. Born on May 14, 1955, Terry lived life to the fullest, filling the hearts of those around him with love and laughter. He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Cooney. And his sons Shane and Shaun and his sister Therese Lewis. And nieces and nephews.

Terry had a larger-than-life personality, always greeting others with a big smile and a hearty laugh. He was known for his incredible storytelling ability and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

With a genuine love for life, Terry was most known for his enthusiasm and joy for the holidays, especially Christmas. He took great pleasure in dressing up as Santa Claus, bringing joy and excitement to the faces of countless children as he handed out presents. St. Patrick's Day was another favorite for Terry, as he would dye his red beard and hair green, don his kilt, and celebrate with family and friends. Halloween was also a cherished holiday for Terry, who would dress up and go trick-or-treating at the Hard Rock Casino.

Terry's legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will be forever remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know him. As we mourn his passing, we celebrate the incredible life he lived and the happiness he brought to others.
