It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Teray Whisby, a man of profound character, who left us too soon on July 12, 2023, leaving a void which will be impossible to fill. Born on May 21, 1990, Teray lived a life that was a testament to love, kindness, and generosity.
Teray was a loving husband to his wife, Fredricka Mitchell, who survives him. His presence as a devoted husband was exceptional, providing a cornerstone of strength and unity within their home. His love for his wife was a radiant light that shone brightly throughout their life together.
Teray was a lovable and kind-hearted man whose tenderness and grace were felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His outlook towards life was encapsulated in his philosophy, "Treat yourself". This mantra was not only a reflection of his love for self-care but also a reminder for us all to value ourselves and our needs in this journey of life.
Teray was not an individual of grand gestures, but his greatest accomplishments lay in the simple things, which, to him, held the utmost value. Being an amazing husband and father, he showcased the true meaning of love, responsibility, and commitment. These seemingly insignificant achievements were, in reality, the building blocks of an extraordinary life that he led.
The legacy Teray leaves behind is one of kindness and generosity. He enriched the lives of those around him with these virtues, creating an everlasting imprint on their hearts. His embodiment of love and kindness will continue to inspire us, reminding us of the man he was and the ideals he upheld.
As we mourn this tremendous loss, we also celebrate Teray's life and the positive impact he had on those around him. He has left us physically, but his spirit, love, and lessons will forever remain with us.
"MA" You Got A Plan
God plans our time and I thank Him for the thirty years He let you be mine. I thank Him for the loan cause, you see to me you did not belong and through this haze I thank God for the love you gave, and the laughter it brought us in the last of our fun-filled days. I thank Him for the love in my heart. I thank him for you my child with the big o'l smile.
You were everything to me, all of what I wanted my son to be, thanks for the joy of letting you be my boy.
"See Ya"

I'LL MISS YOU TERAY
Hutley, I miss you very much, and now that you are gone I know that you are in heaven trying to tell us all to be strong
The moments we all cherish will never be the same
Who will make me laugh, tell jokes and play card games
Who will be there to protect me in a fight?
Who will stop my crying and tell me, it will be all right
Every time I think of the memories, I start to cry I didn't get a chance to say good-bye and you didn't tell me why But remember that I love you and that our love will never die
