Teddy “Negrito” Martinez (May 2009-Oct 2024) Teddy was the only black one in the litter, Dad’s pick for me. Teddy gave me his best, always excited to see me and say “hello”, after me everywhere I went. Tip tip tapping all over the hard floors, loving to simply be in my presence. He loved foot rubs on his Belly and neck. An explorer, I took him everywhere I could. My support buddy, giving me unconditional love like no other. I will miss your zoomies of excitement and all that soft fur, your smile and the way you would roll on your bed or the furry rug when you were happy and full. You enjoyed looking out the door and just being in the same room as us. 

On your last morning, dad laid by you before heading off to work, I took you on a long wagon ride around the neighborhood with Juju. The weather was perfect, sunny and fresh fall scents you were so happy to enjoy. I know you held on to say goodbye to Bella after school who you loved so much and took your last breaths in the warmth of my arms after so much praise, words of love and comfort with soft music in the background.

We will miss you forever and in our hearts you will stay. We thank you for all the special moments we will cherish for all our lives. Until I can hug you again in heaven, go say hi to Mima for me. We love you to the moon and back.
