Life never prepares you for the heartbreak of loosing the most important man in your life. The one that protects you no matter what, the one who shows up to save you at any time of night, the man that holds you for the first time after taking your first breath who teaches you how to walk, ride a bike and sits with you when you think your world is coming down around you, grieves with you while wiping the tears from your cheeks after you loose your first dog, believes in you when you don’t believe in yourself. The man who teaches you how you should be treated, answers every phone call, drops everything to come help you , the one that molds you to be independent, and most importantly loves every piece of you unconditionally with out waiver. My dad passed away this past Sunday in my arms. He watched me take my first breathe as I held him while he took his last. I still need you dad, please watch over us and keep us safe.
