Tara's obituary

Tara Tomlin passed away on September 27, 2022 at the age of 26.

Tara was born in Lynchburg, VA at the VA Baptist Hospital on August 26, 1996 to parents Stacy Lynn Wood and Robert Dallas Tomlin. She was a fun-loving and boisterous girl, always laughing and talking. Tara also loved her fast cars and enjoyed car shows and doing burnouts. She often visited a Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family.  She also loved exotic animals and had many geckos and hermit crabs along with her beloved dogs Maria and Topsy. Tara’s memory will forever be cherished by her family and many friends. Tara battled Cystic Fibrosis from birth but she tried to live life to the fullest and made many friends with the same disease whom she inspired with her strength and determination.

She is survived by her fiancé, Don Te McCadden, mother Stacy Lynn Wood Allen (husband Ricky Allen) , father Robert Dallas Tomlin Huguet(wife Valerie Lynn Tomlin), sister Haley Summer Tomlin, neice Anais Ada Morris and grandmother Rena Mae Tomlin.

At Tara's request her body has been donated to science for research in the fight against Cystic Fibrosis. Her wishes were to be cremated and memorial services will be held at a later date for family and friends to attend.
