Tanya (Lynch) Fix, 65, passed away Monday, February 7th, from multiple health complications. Her family was at her side at UCHealth Medical Center in Loveland as she fought hard to recover. A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Saturday, February 26th, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the YMCA Kiawanas Lodge in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Desserts will be served. Tanya (or “Tawnee,” as she was affectionately known by family and friends) was born on April 30th, 1956 to Loretta (Hardin) Reitz and Rowland Lynch. She attended Lincoln Heights Elementary School, Scottsbluff Junior High School, and Scottsbluff Senior High School. She also attended Nebraska Western College. Tanya married Larry Fix in 1978 and together they had four children. Tanya was always quick to welcome in and love everyone that she met including Larry’s four children from his previous marriage. Tanya will be remembered for her infectious laugh, good heart, and love of everyone and all animals. She loved doting on her grandchildren and numerous puppies. Tanya is survived by her husband, Larry; her mother, Loretta Reitz; daughters, Taryn, Haleigh, Ashleigh, and Danielle (Keaton) Deere; stepdaughter, Cherie; stepsons, Jason (Karen) and Brian (Sandy); brother, Greg (Cherie); sisters, Kim (Tim) Twombly and Kristi (Dan) Thomas; sister-in-law, Shelia (Buzz) Larreau; and brothers-in-law, Gaylen (Sharon) Fix and Roger Fix. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by Max and Emily Hardin (grandparents); Rowland Lynch (father); Don Hardin (uncle); Joyce Piffner (aunt); Cassie Twombly (niece); Roy Reitz (stepfather); Cheryl Lynch (sister-in-law); Gale Fix (father-in-law); Myrtha Fix (mother-in-law); Danny Fix (brother-in-law); and Shannon Fix (stepdaughter).
